Salmon Meat Products, Inc, currently run by Glenn and Gary Salmon, dates back to the early 1900s. George Kohlbeck started Kohlbeck Meat Market in Luxemburg. George's grandson Leo Salmon worked for George and decided to form a new company with cousin Don Barbiaux named Hwy 29 Sausage Co. In the mid 1960s, Leo started Salmon Meats in Luxemburg. Sons Gary and Glenn joined the firm in 1975. Salmon specializes in smoked and fresh sausage for wholesale and retail sales. Salmon's most notable product is their famous Natural Casing Wiener. Other notable products include their Double Smoked Bacon, Beef Sticks, Brats, Ring Bologna, Country Smoked Ham, Summer Sausage, Seasoned Raw Beef, Pork Sausage Links, Belgian Tripp, Potato Sausage, Polish Sausage, Beef Jerky, Smoked Turkey Strips, and many more.
